Paint Correction — Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Swirl-free paint, restored to its best.

Paint correction uses controlled machine polishing to remove swirls, scratches, oxidation, and other paint defects, restoring clarity and depth to your vehicle’s finish. Every vehicle is inspected first so we can determine the correction stage, paint thickness, and process it actually needs.

You do not need to guess at a correction stage before we see the vehicle. We inspect the paint, measure defect severity and clear coat condition, and recommend the correction level that will provide the best result.

Custom Quote

Your quote is created after an in-person inspection of the vehicle’s paint condition, defect severity, and clear coat thickness.

We determine the appropriate polishing stage, compound and pad combination, the correction time required, and whether a ceramic coating or sealant should be applied afterward to protect the results.

Quote may account for:
• Paint condition and defect severity
• Clear coat thickness and safe correction margin
• Vehicle size and panel count
• Single-stage vs. multi-stage correction
• Coating or sealant applied after correction
• Required labor time and appointment length

Why It Matters

Correction that brings back depth, clarity, and long-term value.

Removes Swirls & Scratches

Machine polishing removes fine scratches, swirl marks, and light oxidation that washing and waxing alone cannot fix.

Restores Depth & Gloss

Correcting the clear coat brings back the paint’s original clarity and reflection, especially under direct sunlight.

Protects Resale Value

A corrected, well-maintained finish holds up better at trade-in or resale and photographs better for listings.

Our Process

We inspect first, then build the right correction plan.

1

Inspect

We examine the paint under proper lighting, measure clear coat thickness where possible, identify defects, and discuss your goals.

2

Recommend

We determine the correction stage, compound and pad process, estimated labor time, and final custom quote.

3

Correct & Protect

After approval, the vehicle is washed, decontaminated, machine polished in stages, and inspected — with coating or sealant applied if selected.

Paint Correction FAQ

Common questions before requesting an inspection.

Why is an inspection required?

Clear coat thickness, defect severity, paint condition, and vehicle size all affect how much correction is safe and how long the process will take.

How many stages of correction do I need?

Most vehicles fall between a one-step enhancement and a full multi-stage correction. We determine the right stage after inspecting the paint.

How much does paint correction cost?

Pricing is provided as a custom quote after inspection. Your quote will clearly explain the recommended correction stage, labor time, and total price.

Will paint correction remove all imperfections?

Most surface-level swirls and light scratches can be corrected. Deeper scratches that catch a fingernail may not fully remove, but they can typically be improved.
